About Carp
For anglers who love being close to nature, Carp offers a wonderful bushveld camping experience. The tree-filled surroundings create a peaceful, natural atmosphere and make this stand particularly well suited to guests arriving with an off-road caravan.
At approximately 18 metres of riverbank and 18 metres wide, Carp has a generous, nearly square footprint that gives it an enclosed, secluded feel. Two tents fit easily, braai facilities are on the stand, and the river is right there for relaxed days at the water.
Pre-school children stay free. Optional add-ons including KDF tent rental, private bathroom hire, and day visitor permits can be arranged at booking or on arrival.
Pricing
Simple pricing. You pay R400 per night for the whole stand. That covers 1 tent and 2 adults. You can pitch extra tents at no charge. Each extra adult costs R100 per night.

I took the family to KDF for the day and we had an awesome time. The hosts Gert and Alida were extremely helpful and friendly.
Very isolated, but so peaceful. Great new camping and fishing spot.
