Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all bookings and stays at KDF Experience ("KDF", "we", "our", "us"). By completing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and all guests in your party.
1. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full payment has been received and a booking confirmation email has been sent to you.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. No reservation is held without payment.
- Payments are processed securely via PayFast. KDF Experience does not store card information.
- Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- KDF reserves the right to correct pricing errors. If an error affects your booking, you will be notified and offered a full refund or the corrected rate.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
At the time of booking you are required to tick a checkbox confirming that you have read and accepted this policy. This acknowledgement is recorded with your booking.

To cancel a booking, contact us via email or WhatsApp with your booking reference number. Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days to the original payment method.
KDF Experience is not liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control. We strongly recommend travel insurance for all bookings.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check in from 08:00. Early check-in may be arranged subject to availability.
- Check out by 12:00. Late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and an additional fee.
4. Guest Responsibilities and Site Rules
All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to other guests, staff, and the natural environment. The following rules apply to all guests and visitors:
- Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 07:00. Noise that disturbs other guests is not permitted at any time.
- Open fires are permitted in designated fire pits and braai areas only. No open flames outside these areas.
- Fishing is subject to South African fishing regulations. Valid fishing licences are the responsibility of each guest.
- Pets are permitted. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
- Littering is strictly prohibited. All waste must be disposed of in the designated bins.
- Vehicles must remain on designated roads and parking areas. No off-road driving on the property.
- Swimming in the Vaal River is at your own risk. KDF Experience accepts no liability for swimming injuries or incidents.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to property or facilities during their stay. Costs will be charged to the guest.
5. Maximum Occupancy
Each unit has a maximum occupancy as listed on the booking page. Exceeding the maximum occupancy without prior approval is not permitted and may result in removal from the property without refund.
6. Liability
KDF Experience, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or death arising from a stay at the property, including but not limited to: participation in water activities, use of fire and braai facilities, theft of personal belongings, acts of nature, or actions of other guests. Guests stay and participate in all activities at their own risk.
7. Privacy
Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
8. Changes to These Terms
KDF Experience reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect from the date of publication on this page. Bookings made before any change are governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
